Ashutosh Kumar is the co-founder & CEO of Testbook.com, India’s best in-class personalized learning and assessment platform for government job entrance examinations with a current user base of 25 million and 16 million Monthly Active Users. He started on his entrepreneurial journey with Recharge 123, an aggregator platform for mobile phone recharging in 2009 during his 3rd year at IIT Bombay. He co-founded Excelmentors.com in 2012, a platform that provided mentorship to JEE aspirants by IIT students who were trained as mentors.

Ashutosh hails from Madhubani, Bihar and started his career as a physics teacher for JEE aspirants in 2007 while pursuing the first year of his dual degree of BTech & MTech from IIT Bombay. Ashutosh co-founded the platform with three fellow IITians, and secured Series B funding of $ 8.3M from Matrix Partners, Iron Pillar, AngelList India and Better Capital in January 2020.
